29 Months

Playdough is still a hit!

They love Thomas the Train

New skills.... tracing and cutting... well at least an introduction:)

Outside is the best thing in the WORLD!

The Potty Training update!  Overall they are doing AWESOME!  I however have to remind myself of this on certain days... there are the occasional accidents but there are also accident free days (those are awesome).  They are getting pretty good at telling us when they have to go... they even have nap times that are "usually" dry!
Some potty quotes.... (prepare yourself)
*"Nathan, we only touch our own penis!"
* "Point it down daddy!"
* " Look mama, a big poop!"
"Need to go potty... now!"
I always tell them that they need to put their hands in their pockets when we are in a public restroom because there are "Germs."  So Nathan anounced to the entire bathroom "Mama... sperm" (AKA Germs)

Yup... that would be our front step!

Ben's new favorite is SOCCER!

A MESS... they are always a MESS!  We go through 12 outfits a day between meals and snacks and playing in the water and potty training!

Nathan has been a snuggle bunny lately and is always up for a hug and a kiss... I LOVE it!

Ben is mister fiesty... he loves to climb high!

Who me????  I would never do anything wrong!

Could sleeping with a pillow over your head really run on a gene????  My kids never see me sleep but I totally sleep with a pillow over my head and now Nathan does too!  Oh and they LOVE to sleep with pillows now... "Like daddy!"

They love to go in each others cribs... they read stories and sing songs... it melts my heart!

Nathan's MoHawk

I'm not sure I'm loving the new hair cuts but the style was kind of a silly treat for the boys.

Loving the sucker... he had hair stuck to his cheeks!

Crazy MoHawk Boy!  Don't worry we didn't keep it like this:)
Challenges of the month:
-Potty Training
-"MYSELF"... I hear this a million times a day
-The boys have been fighting a lot.  They are the best of friends but they have been bitting and pushing and pinching and its driving me crazy.  Any one have advice?

Favorite Books:
Knuffle Bunny
Elmo
Brown Bear
The Bible

Favorite foods:
Blueberries
Pizza
Frozen Gogurt
Green Balls (peas)
FRUIT FRUIT and more FRUIT!

To cute to forget!
- The boys want to read books to each other and to us ... their vocabulary and rhythm crack me up.
- Singing songs (Down on Grandpas farm, Rain Rain, Happy Birthday, Wheels on the bus etc)
- "Shh Secret Mission"  The other day we went on some secret missions for Brents big Grad party this weekend and I told the boys it was a secret.  That night at dinner Brent asked the boys what we did and they both screamed "No No Daddy, Don't tell daddy.... SHHHHHHH!"  It was hilarious, not that I want them keeping secrets but if they can keep it until Saturday that would be great!
-They love watering cans and hoses
-They think that bubbles in the water table are pretty much the best thing.
-They have also loved going to the Colby Lake Pool and have mastered the toddler pool!  We are definately looking forward to our trip to the Dells in July... as well as trips to Auntie Betsy's new cabin!!!
Love always

Welcome to Summer 2012

A road trip to Rochester
to see Stella and Auntie Casie

On Saturday we headed to the
  2nd annual Baby Steps 3K
and NICU Reunion.
This is the 2nd year that we have participated in the event.  We are Team Hiccup and Wiggle... in honor of our favorite little guys:)  I always have so much fun at the event because not only do the boys get to see the Doctors and nurses that took care of them but I get to see my old Primary babes and reconnect with their parents and see the wonderful progress they have made.

Off we go....

The Fire truck joined us on the walk route.

Our friends the Wiggins joined us too.... these 4 beautiful, smart, active toddlers were once 3 pound premature infants.... we are beyond BLESSED with their progress.....this was a photo of them as they walked towards the finish line.

Nathan and Benjamin's 2012 Quilt Square

Auntie Kari joined us too

The 2nd annual ECFE BBQ was Saturday night!

A quick family photo... N & B never smile for posed photos any more:(

A quick dinner

Super Soakers!

Water Balloons

They loved the balloons.... it took 30 min to fill 100 balloons and 5 minutes to pop them:)

Nathan and Ben had a BLAST in the kiddie pools.... we are so lucky to have such great family friends.
and then Sunday it was off to....
GRAND OLD DAYS!

Off we go to the parade

Grumpy and the boys waiting for the parade to start!
