This is the third year that we have had a garden in our backyard! I really love watching the boys get so excited about it and wanting to help! I'm not totally sold on the "organic" craze... but there is something wonderful about growing food in your backyard, that your kids can pick, wash and eat!

By late June we did lots of weeding which Ben loved to help with!
By the start of July the plants were really growing. Nathan and Ben almost daily were helping me weed. They were watching the tiny vegetables flower and grow veggies!
This was just before we left of the cabin for 4th of July.... by the time we came home the tomatoes were up to the top of the fence! Amazing what lots of rain followed by lots of sun can do!

I love having all the fresh veggies! I also love that it helps us mix up our dinners and try new things!
