Allison: 12 months

After 12 long months.... its her party and she will CRY if she wants to!  Allie is completely over the sticker on the onsie monthly photos!  For a baby who really doesn't cry much... I guess this is telling!

One Year Check up!

Poor Peanut got 4 shots and a finger poke! Nathan and Benjamin looked like they were going to cry.... they love their sister so much and they definitely don't like it when she cries this hard!

She still loves to eat!  Favorites include: berries of all kinds, cheese, smoothies, turkey meatballs, peaches, mandarin oranges, bananas, yogurt, spaghetti, tacos, anything her brothers have!

Still drinking mama milk at night, transitioning to Whole milk! She seems somewhat unattached to bottles so we are hoping to switch exclusively to sippy cups soon.   

Sleeping: Now that she is one she gets a pillow! Gramma made these super cute pillow cases to match the quilt and sham that she quilted for Allie's big girl bed!  She likes it and snuggles right in with her blanket (which we are now calling pinky) and her thumb!  She still really likes her sleep sack too!  Allison continues to be a good sleeper she usually takes ~3-4 hours of a nap and 12 hours at night.  By 7:30pm she is tired and ready!   

Allie's New Carseat!  She is a big girl now!

New Skills: climbing the bunk bed ladder, climbing up her slide and sliding down all by herself, standing up all on her own, she started taking steps about 2 weeks after her 1st birthday, loves driving her cozy coupe, screeches when she doesn't get her way.

* Hanging out with Eva at the pool!

*Shopping with mommy- I never got to do it with just one!

* She loves to do what her brothers do.... including the money bars

* She steals food... like s'mores

* She loves the water and swimming

*  water bottles are her favorite!

* She kisses with open mouth and tongue

* She says mama, dada, nay nay, Hi

* She signs more, all done, milk, please

* Her favorite book is Number Rumba

*She doesn't watch TV

This little girl has her daddy's heart!  He is completely smitten with her and her blue eyes! Daddy loves those boys and is so proud to have sons!  I'm not sure that he realized just how much he was going to fall in love with this little peanut!

She loves to climb on things.... especially this Mickey airplane! 

Crawling through the tunnel is lots of fun too!

Happy 4th of July!!!

We celebrated at the cabin.... and I had a hard time not reflecting back on last summer at the cabin when I was very pregnant anticipating what life would look like a year later.  Well here she is.... more then we could have ever dreamed off.  Allie Girl we all love you to the moon and back, we can't imagine life without you!  How did the year fly by so quickly?????
