Fall is upon us here at the Utechs. Fall is always so busy... and so fun! We have loved the 60 and sunny weather that the beginning of October brought... and the boys are so excited to rake leaves and jump in them.

On a rainy morning we made pumpkin cookies, watched movies (The Little Mermaid... my favorite, I remember seeing it in the theater as a little kid).. and just hung out! It was GREAT!... and a bit messy!

The new corn pit at Country sun farm is great! Even moms and dads have fun playing in the corn. I'm still finding corn in shoes and jacket pockets.

If the boys eat two Carmel apples each year they will not die... I PROMISE.
Dinner with Auntie Hannah and the Narrs. Can't believe how fast baby Tristan is growing. We had to take advantage of some friend time before Casie goes back to work and our schedules never match up!

This fall we have spent alot of time at the dog park in Woodbury. It is a gorgeous piece of land and we are grateful to have access to it. Berkeley LOVES going there... so do the boys! Nathan and Ben find the biggest sticks they can and they walk with them- Walking sticks!

Unfortunately, Nathan was not being a good listener this morning. We are making a stance and following through with punishments.... so no shoes, no coat, no listening.... no firehouse! Lesson hopefully learned... and in the mean time Ben got some good one on one time with Mommy!

And this guy.... he is one fantastic hardworking daddy! He does more to help out his wife and kids then pretty much any other guy I know. We love him and we are SO LUCKY to have him in our lives! And after a week of him out of town on business and mama at home balancing, night shifts, working meetings, kids, dog, house, daycare and preschool we felt even more blessed when he got home! So thankful!
