More First Birthday

I have been meaning to add more photos and updates after the boys birthday... life has not slowed down though!!!!  The boys had a wonderful birthday.  Brent and I took the boys to the Children's Museum  during the day and Noodles and Company for a birthday dinner... what can I say, they love noodles!!!  Then on Saturday we had a first birthday complete with cake, large balloons and lots of family and friends!  Once again, it was obvious how much these two little boys are loved!  Thank you to everyone who was part of their special day!  Now that the boys are one we have made a few changes... 1. Mommy gets to be done pumping... YEAH!!!! 2. Whole milk and Sippy cups are abundant 3. walking/standing is becoming an everyday occurrence 4. the boys had the stomach flu... not fun for babes and not fun for mom and dad!  The challenges continue however the rewards are large.  We love all the learning that occurs in our house on a daily basis.  
Here are a few of our favorite things about each boy!
Nathan
* when he screeches with laughter as he crawls up the stairs
* the way that he wrinkles up his nose when you tell him no!
*  his frankenstein wobbly first steps
* his ability to find power cords in two seconds flat
* When he crawls up into daddy's lap for a hug


Benjamin
* his lion roar
* his open mouth kisses
* pushing his Mickey mouse plane back and forth across the play room
* the way he shakes his head no... as he drops his food/sippy cup over the edge of the high chair
* his love of Mac and Cheese
Now that the festivities of Thanksgiving/Christmas and 1st birthdays are over... we have a little cabin fever and are very much looking forward to summer!
