In each of our lives we are only blessed with a few friends who become such a huge part of your life that you now consider them... Family! Well ms auntie Hannah is one of those people. From my time in africa, through break ups and moves and boyfriends... to weddings, bedrest, babies, nursing jobs and so much more she has been a fixture in our lives. I simply would not have successfully made it through the last two years without her (an a few others)! Hannah has been there for me and for brent through it all... and maybe most importantly she knows our children and loves them almost as her own. She was there when they were sick, when they didn't sleep, she spent hours feeding Ben when he was such a pokey eater ( I was going crazy!), she has also been there to babysit for us and to celebrate the milestones... sitting, crawling, eating, discharges from the hospital, first birthdays, holidays etc.
We are so EXCITED and so PROUD of her as she is about to embark on an adventure of her own... University of Pennsylvania Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Program! Selfishly... we are going to miss her terribly and hope that at some point, her journey leads her back here to MN.... we simply can't imagine life without her!
So this weekend, we pulled some of her favorite people together and surprised her with a party!
