Thankful

This is the first Thanksgiving that I will be with Nathan and Benjamin!   Last year I had to work and the year before I was on bedrest in the Hospital.... in fact over the 6 Thanksgivings that Brent and I have been together... this was only the 2nd Thanksgiving we actually spent together!  Thanksgiving has always had special meaning to me because I was born on Thanksgiving and so we always celebrated in conjunction with the holiday...some how as you get older things get in the way of the MAGIC!  I will never forget last year.... sitting around an ECFE Mommy circle talking about our Thanksgiving plans...where upon I had to say "I'm actually working 12 hours on Thanksgiving!"  The look of HORROR  and silence that came across the room was unpresidented!  I pretty much had a neon sign over my head screaming "WORST MOM IN THE WORLD!"  Yup I missed their 1st Thanksgiving!  This year we will make the most of our time together!  As you sit down with your family to thanksgiving dinner here is a little food for thought, think about those that must work on these holidays.... police officers, fire fighters, nurses, doctors, military service members etc and be thankful that they have sacrificed a little time with their families to make sure that in the unfortunate event that you need their services, they are available.
What we are thankful for....
