YEAH Baby #3! Now that the Chaos of life had settled a bit we figured it was the perfect time to add a little bit more. We found out that we were pregnant November 10th.... the day we met Eva Nohner for the 1st time! After our last adventure with Nathan and Benjamin this was a leap of faith to trust that my body knew what it was doing and could handle another pregnancy....
We knew that baby #3 just had to join in on all of our family adventures.... so at 7 weeks we started documenting ALL the adventures of Wee Utech! Picking out the 2013 Utech Family Christmas Tree.
First ultrasound photo at 8 weeks! Mommy went alone... Daddy was at Color Bag Day with Nathan at Preschool. First thing daddy said.... "Look at all that fluid!" We were so nervous after last time...
This is how we told our families that we were adding baby #3! Both sets of family found out during our Christmas celebrations....Wee Utech was ~10 weeks!
Wee Utech joined us in Sunny California.... I guess you could call this our babymoon!
This was also the first commercial flight for Wee Utech
20 week ultrasound! Baby is HEALTHY! Heart looks PERFECT! I was really nervous going into our 20 week ultrasound.... but I settled in once I saw that baby, and watched how active and perfect it looked! Thank you Dr. Saul and Dr. Hills for the Level II ultrasound and cardiac ECHO! As promised we decided to keep the gender a secret..... mommy really wanted to find out.... daddy held strong. Daddy did however keep peaking at the ultrasound.... "stop looking, if you don't want to know:)"
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day!
24 weeks... the size of a Cantaloupe! Thanks daddy for the visual that you brought home from the grocery store! Boys thought it was pretty funny! Baby would now more then likely survive if born!
One of my very good friends is 4 weeks behind me.... so much fun to be preggo together. It was kind of a running joke for a while... every time I told someone I was preggo.... they told me they were preggo too. We will also be welcoming Baby Bullard #4, Baby Kurke #3, Baby Busch #1 and Baby Leonard #2! Can't wait to meet all the new babes!
Easter Morning at 25 weeks... The Easter Bunny left a few treats for Wee Utech... now if only we knew if it was a boy or a girl!
2nd Commercial flight.... a trip to Philadelphia with Auntie Hannah and Casie!
Wee Utech at ~ 27 weeks at the Liberty Bell!
Wee Utech at ~ 27 weeks at the Liberty Bell!
Dr. Christine Kopp Graduates from Vet School. In my head I really wanted to make it to Madison to help celebrate with Christine... I was so glad that Wee Utech was up for the trip at ~30 weeks.
Memorial Day weekend was my last weekend of Transport. At ~32 weeks I took my last rotor flight with Wee Utech in the brand new helicopter! I took Wee Utech with me on a bunch of ambulance rides, X1 rotor flight and X3 fixed wing flights. I guess this pregnancy is a little bit different then with the boys!
Baby Steps 3K in honor of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of MN NICU! This just happened to take place when I was 32 weeks 3 days.... exactly the day when the boys were born. It was ironic but wonderful!
I finally broke down and had an O'Douls Amber! Thanks friends for the suggestion!
Uncle Rusty's Wedding
Maternity Photos at 34 weeks
Reading to Wee Utech at ~ 36 weeks!
Celebrating 4th of July at 37 weeks at the cabin! We were all looking forward to a relaxing 5 days at the cabin! I'm again glad that Wee Utech was up for the adventure.
Last weekend of work!!!
Things I will always remember from this pregnancy...
* Watermelon cravings!
* nausea and tiredness in the evenings
* My thigh high compression socks that I always wore to work because my veins in my legs took such a hit!
* The right rib burning sensation during the 3rd trimester... there is always a little foot pushing on my ribs!
* I carried this baby so high.... it was in my ribs from the late 2nd trimester on
* Sciatic nerve pain and hip pain during the early 2nd trimester.
* Benjamin from day #1 said that this baby was a GIRL, Nathan waffled a little bit more. Their favorite line was "One of us will be right!"
* The BODY PILLOW. Thank you Katie Leonard for letting me borrow it! You are a life saver!
* We kept this pregnancy pretty quiet for a very long time. Lots of people didn't find out until Wee Utech was 20 weeks... both Brent and I were a little hesitant to say too much too soon!
* Glucose Tests! I had gestational diabetes with the boys so I was tested at 20 weeks... which I failed the one hour test and then passed the 3 hours test. I then was retested at 28 weeks and passed the 1 hour test at that point. Thank goodness, one less thing to worry about.
* Gramma came up with the nickname Wee Utech.
* Ben saying "mom you cant have this...it has sugar in it....sugar is bad for the baby!"
* Nathan saying..."mom are you ever going to be able to bend over again???"
* we had 1 girls name picked out..... we had ~3 boy names.... we had a hard time coming up with boy names.
