Eating: Taking less and less mama milk. She almost prefers a sippy cup unless she is really tired. She even tolerates cold milk now. She tried snacks from a snack cup, eats off of plates and bowls and even conned her brother into letting her have some buster bar! She is smart.... she figured out that she wanted the boys' freezes.... so mama had to get creative and make some mama milk freezes... Allison Approves! :) Allie loves to eat, some of her favorites include... watermelon, cheese, peanut butter toast, anything her brothers have and strawberries!

Mama milk freezes
I love that my 10 month old just sat on a blanket and eat her lunch off of a plate at the beach! Nathan and Benjamin were great eaters but they also did much better contained in their highchairs.
Sleeping: We find Allison all over her crib!!! She still loves her Gramma blanket which we now refer to as "Pinky" and when she is tired she sucks her thumb! She crawls and stands and plays with her crib toys. She takes 1-2 naps a day depending on what big brothers have on the agenda. She usually sleeps 3-3.5 hours for naps. Bedtime is usually 7:30 and it is not uncommon for her to sleep 12 hours. If Allison is crabby it is because she is tired and she will gladly snuggle in bed and go to sleep.... I hope this continues!
New Skills: This last month has been an explosion of activity!!!! Crawling is now in high speed, she ups on everything, climbs up stairs and is always on a mission to get into N & B toys, garbage cans, cabinets and so much more. She wiggles and wants down, she stands on chairs and walks behind push toys! She has even mastered her outdoor slide.... up the stairs down the slide and then attempts to climb back up the slide.
Although she isn't a huge fan of grass....
she wants to be with everyone so she sucks it up and crawls on over!
Upping is her favorite.... so is digging in the dirt!
Obviously she is helping with the dishes.
Sand, shovels, buckets and trucks are some of her summer favorites!
And there is usually a little sand or wood chips that end up in the mouth!
Pulling things from the cabinet is also a personal favorite!
I'm so glad that she has mastered the "standing up in the target cart" routine!
Firsts: This little girl is getting to learn and try things in a different order then her brothers.... she thought she was so cool ....
* she got to try the end of Grumpy's Ice Cream cone.... look at that face! Funniest thing I have seen in a while!
* Allison got to pet the horses at the Pizza Farm in Northfield
* She drank Jamba Juice on a hot Grand ole Days
* She played in the sprinkler like a champ... she didn't even seem cold, just wanted to splash and try and drink it!
* trying to fit Allison's hair in a hair clip... Gramma described it as "putting a barrette on an eyelash!"
* We ventured to the St. Paul Farmers Market which is one of our family favorites and was on our summer bucket list!

The Little Things:
* Giving kisses when she sees people that she loves.... she no longer uses her hands she just blows air kisses with her mouth
* Pulling hair bands and Hats off the minute she realizes they are on
* clapping when she is proud of her accomplishment!
* stealing with excitement any time she sees her brothers!
* her new obsession with other babies pacifiers.... remember how she refused a pacifier as a baby!
* She hates taking her monthly sticker picture.... she doesn't want to lay on her back and she pulls the sticker off immediately.
* Her blonde spike hair!
* So happy 95% of the time, she goes with the flow

Brothers: Nathan and Benjamin have loved Allison since the day she was born and in 11 months nothing has changed.... they all get so excited to see each other! Allison's favorite place in the world is in the middle of her brothers' chaos!!!!
