Brent and I went on a fabulous 5 day trip to visit our friends Jenn and Jack in California! This was our first trip without children and it was great! Jack and Jenn and their family were such fabulous hosts and showed us all around southern California!
Brent wanted to see The Rose Bowl so we took a tour. The Rose Bowl is less then a mile from Jenn's Parent's house so we walked there and enjoyed the 70 degree weather.
We took a hike in the Hollywood hills to the Griffith Observatory.
One of the biggest highlights were the awesome tickets to the Lakers Game. Jack and Brent watched the game while Jenn and I looked for celebrities.... some of our spots included Calista Flockhart, one of the red hot Chili peppers and the base player from the Eagles.
Thank you so much to Jack, Jenn, Mary, Terry, JP and Jacob for the fabulous trip! We will be back.... and next time we will bring some buddies for Jacob and JP!
Making Valentines for the Grandparents.
I was so proud of both boys for writing their names 18 times for their valentines for school.... unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of Ben's.... but I promise it was just as cute!
Nathan picked out candy hearts for his friends.
Ben picked out gummy bears and suckers.
