A Trip to the ER...

Just wanted to give you all a little update on Nathan...

After a battle with the parking lot... Nathan lost!   We were visiting the Train Museum in St. Paul, he fell and the rest is history.  We brought him to the Children's ER. They all agreed that he did one heck of a number on his face. Nathan ended up with a CT scan of his face.  After 2 attempts at the CT, a stuffed animal, a blanket and a light wand... the 2 Minute CT was finally complete. Nathan was a trooper, he won over the ER Doc with his cute little voice... she even brought him a freeze pop.  The good news is that there is no fracture in his face. They sent us home with some pain meds and an antibiotic.....per the CT scan it looked like he had a cold/ sinus infections which will be worse now with all the swelling.  The ER doc also warned us that his swelling and bruising may get worse before it gets better.  He ate and drank like a champ tonight and was in good spirits.... Ben however kept looking at nathan and pointing to his nose and saying "OWEE."
