Headed into Target Field for the first Twins Game for Nathan and Benjamin! We have been waiting all summer... we bought cheap tickets-way up high in the nose bleed section. We figured we would be doing a lot of walking around, eating and going to the bathroom:)
Excited to have his ticket... and he wanted to hold it with his chin, not really sure where that came from!
Nathan thought the turn style was pretty interesting.
Their first look at the field. We watched TC take some batting practice with some fans... the team mascot hit more home runs then either of the fans:)
In a crazy turn of events we ended up in section 118!!!! As we were walking to our original seats in section 303 we were stopped by a young lady "hey are those guys twins???" YUP they are! "are you guys interested in a free seat upgrade?" SURE!
T-Mobile has a new program called JUMP... where you can upgrade your cell phones at any time. So as a promotion they were upgrading a section of people! COOL! This cute young lady walked us to our seat where she presented us with PINK T-Mobile backpacks, Twins hats, T-shirts and $20/person in concession stand food! SUPER COOL! The catch.... we had to be in our seats during the 5th inning with our shirts on so that we could be on the Jumbo-Tran as advertisement for T-Mobile. Sounds like a deal to me!
*** Funny story: As we are being "escorted" to our lower level $64/seat tickets.... Ben says "wait wait mom... I really want to sit in my way up high seats!" No sweetie... your really want to sit down low:) We will ride the escalator later:)
Happy with his cracker jacks! These two better not get use to all these treats.... mom and dad would have been broke if we had to pay for this! (in fact we would have eaten the grapes and gold fish that were in my purse)
His VERY OWN big huge hot dog!
Ready to catch a ball!!!!
Watching all the HOME RUNS... unfortunately most of them were for the Blue Jays!
Golden Glove!
There we are on the big screen... unfortunately this is the only photo I got... Benjamin and Daddy were on the big screen too... my camera just didn't click fast enough.
The boys have been practicing singing "Take me out to the ball game!" so our goal was to make it to the 7th inning stretch! They were so cute dancing on their chairs and trying to sing all the words along with the singer.
What a game and what a beautiful hot late summer night! After hot dogs, juice boxes, apples, Cotton candy, sun flower seeds and cheese curds (which Ben loved... they came in a paper canoe).... the Twins lost, we had a blast, the boys stayed up way past their bedtime and we left during the 9th inning. We will call it a success and maybe by next year we wont have to go to the bathroom 6 times:)
