Allison: 2 Months

Fall is upon us!  Allison continues to grow and change every day...
I forgot just how quickly babies change!

Weight: 10 pounds 11 1/2 ounces
Height 23 inches
Diaper: Size 1
Clothing Size: 0-3 or 3 month depending on the brand

Eating: Allison eats every 2-3 hours during the day but goes much longer stretches at night.  Since she is a third child her meals are often interrupted by the need to wipe a butt, or break up a fight or get a snack or pickup/drop someone off at preschool.  She still hates bottles and pacifiers.  We have now tried 4 different bottles.... the bottle is not the issue (she is too smart... she knows her mama)!

Sleeping: Allison has been in this bassinet in Mommy and Daddy's room.  She is getting so long and moving all over so this coming weekend we are going to transition her to her crib at night.  I think she will do just fine... she naps in their already.  Mommy will be sad to see her go... but truly she will be moving 10 feet!  Normal bedtime is 930-1000pm and she usually sleeps until 4am.  Most nights she goes back to sleep until her brothers wake her up around 7 or 730.  We try to give her two naps in her crib during the day and she usually cat naps for one of them and then sleeps 2+ hours at the other.

Personality: Allison is a pretty easy going baby.  She spends lots of time on the go in her stroller or car seat.  I have to admit she is a bit of a mamma's girl though.  She will almost always stop crying when mommy picks her up. She is happy and content to play on the floor under her activity gym and she does a great job on her tummy too!

BIG BROTHERS!
She loves them and they love her!  Their first question in the morning is always...
"where is Allie Boo?"  They fight over who gets to hold her, who gets to carry the mama milk down to the fridge in the am and what outfit/hair bow she will wear for the day.  They like to read stories to her, take photos with her and try and calm her when she cries. The thing that melts my heart most is when I hear them whisper things to her like... "good morning lovie girl!" or "Allie Boo.. you are so cute" or "I love you Allie."

 The Little Things:
* Smiles all the time!
* She reaches for her toys that hang from her activity gym
* Ceiling fans and the mobile that hangs over her crib are the BEST.
* The way she holds my finger and shirt when she is eating
* He big bright blue eyes that light up when she smiles
* The way she waves her arms and legs when she gets so excited for a toy or a song or just kisses from her family.
* The little peach fuzz on the top of her head... and the little red birth mark on the back of her head
* The way she ruffles up her brow when she isn't sure of something or the way her left eye squints when she is concentrating.
* She hates pacifiers... but has found her hand and almost her thumb!

Meeting some of her new little baby friends!- A bunch of our friends had babies the month after Allison and we were excited that she will have friends her age... just like N &B had friends their age! And when you are a month older then everyone... it makes you look like a chunky monkey in photos:)
