Everyone always says that these monthly photos get harder to take... they are right! Moving and pulling her number sticker off was the name of the game. Allison was not having any of the "lets lay on your back and smile" type of photos... sitting, rolling, crawling and standing are what she likes best!
We don't have a weight this month but she is currently wearing size 3 diapers and 9-12 month clothing.
Food: This continues to be one of Allison's favorite things. She loves all food... especially if mommy and daddy and the boys are eating it! The only thing that she is unsure of is swiss cheese and hard boiled egg yolks. Her favorites recently have been turkey girlll cheese sandwhich, BERRIES and peanut butter toast. She has mastered the sippy cup and will even drink cold mama's milk from her sippy! She has little time for breastfeeding exept for the morning and at night.... She is more of a bottle/sippy cup girl during the day (this makes mom a little bit sad!). Meal time is messy!

Mastering the veggie pouch all by herself!
Sleeping: We have upgraded to a size medium sleep sack. Allison has been sleeping on her stomach more and more. We find her all over the place in her crib. She can sit up, crawl and stand with her sleep sack on and her crib is now in the lowest position. Allison usually takes 2 naps a day one short 1- 1.5 hour nap and 1 three hour nap she is usually in bed by 7:30pm and wakes up between 7-8am. Allison knows its sleep time when she has her blanket and sleep sack and likes to be in her crib to sleep.
Almost ready to move into her big girl carseat.... Mama isn't quite ready though!
Exploring Her World!
Watching daddy power wash the deck!.... and hoping for a drink!
The door stoppers are her favorite.... anything that makes an annoying noise are really her favorites!
She is learning how to get into trouble.... like tipping over trash cans, pulling things off the shelves and eating things off the floor!

This musical walker was a favorite of the boys for running with... Allison shakes the phone, dances to the music and opens the doors! She is a little more cautious when it comes to the running:)
She loves to "up" on this little table and look out the window!!! Just like the boys did!

Brothers!!!! She is completely infatuated with them. They love her too!!! She lights up when they are around, she wants their toys, their books and their attention. The feeling is mutual.... they love her toys, her books and vie for her attention! Nothing is more exciting to them then watching her master a new skill or experience something that they love for the 1st time!

* her cheeks are the best!!!... I hope they never go away
* she is a moving target when trying to change her diaper.... its an aerobic activity

Allison: (crawling madly towards her brothers magna blocks tower)
Nathan: "Allie girl.... be very gentle"
Allison: (crashing the whole tower down)
Ben: "Allison don't break our tower" (in a very gentle tone)
Allison: (smiling)
Nathan: "Ben lets build our tower again!"
Ben: "Ok brother" "Allie you play with this one (giving her one block)"
Allison: (crawling and pulling down the new tower)
Nathan: "Allison no no, this is our tower!"
*** again the tower gets built and broken multiple times***
Finally as it tumbles down
Nathan: (holding Allison under the arm pits) "Allison Elizabeth NO NO NO... you can NOT break our tower, you go by mom!"
*** (their patience could only last so long:)***
Another day I asked Nathan and Benjamin to watch Allison while I swept the kitchen floor.... This is what they did... I guess they figured if they surrounded her, she couldn't get out!
