Oh what a busy spring it was at Preschool. This program never disappoints... its all in, all the time! As a 4 year old program the boys had a chance to learn about the countries of the world! They "visited" Africa, Germany, Mexico, the polar regions and Australia! They flew to Hawaii (THE REAL HAWAII), complete with a pilot, boarding passes and suit cases. Each class discussed special topics included bugs, dinos, farms (where they for real milked a cow!), bears and pets! Nathan's class even traveled to SPACE! Each class also learned more about God through their daily devotions and prayers. Christmas, los Posadas and Easter were also topics of discussion around the dinner table! More favorite days included those when mommy and daddy volunteered in their classrooms and learning about professions like being a firefighter and dentist! Each boy learned to recite our phone number and address, first and last names, the alphabet upper and lower case, the sounds of each letter and how to write each one! Both boys had fantastic years!

Checking out the Volcanoes!

All loaded on the plane and ready for his "flight"

Nathan's favorite part was milking the cow!
Benjamin leaned about lots of animals too and both boys made butter in their classrooms.
Benjamin just didn't understand why some kids wouldn't try the butter!
Nathan's Space day! He made this adorable jet pack .... and of course Ben wanted one to so mama had to get crafty!
These created hours of entertainment.... "bye mom... we are going to SPACE" then they would run up into their swing set and pretend to go to space! Hilarious... and such a good preschool idea!
The signs of Spring were starting to pop up at Preschool!
Benjamin thought that The Grouchy Lady Bug Book was so funny!
As a 4 year old I wanted to Ben to move into writing Benjamin. He learned the letters of his name quickly but insisted on writing uppercase letters. So, this winter he was so proud to finally write his name in all lowercase... "mom I did my name sooooo careful and it looks like how you write it!" This child is so capable and soooo stubborn ...when they line up he is going to be unstoppable... until then he creates a few roadblocks for himself!
Circus day... this is Nathan with his friend!
Bug day! One of my favorite things about Nathan's class were the morning activities! Each day there was an activity that
Good bye Black Bear Classroom
Good bye Koala Bear Classroom
These little backpacks have hung in the front hall for the past two years... and now it is time to replace them with bigger kindergarten back packs.
