Woodbury Days

The 3M car show is always a stop during our Woodbury Days Adventures.  This was a Model T Circa 1922.  My great grandpa Charlie use to talk about the Model T that his brother had.... grandpa charlie was always incharge of wiping the windows if it started to rain!  Ben thought this car was pretty cool too!

 Woodbury days is always the place that we let the boys do rides.... it seems less chaotic and more controled then the State Fair.  This year they were looking forward to the rides.  They have gotten so big... I fear this may be the last year on these "little kid" rides which makes me sad.  Nathan kept telling us that he wanted to go on "all the rides!"  

Nathan and Benjamin LOVE rollercoasters... they actually went on this ride last year, which is crazy to me.  They actually both wanted to go again.  and look at mr. Nathan in the back with auntie Angela.... hands up and all!

Ferris wheet:  Ben loves this ride and always asks to go on them.  He loves to look out from the top and see how high we are.  

Daddy said no to the bumper cars (I'm pretty sure they were too short anyway).   They really wanted to drive the "bumpin cars!"

I think these trucks are so cute.... both boys told me they were bored.

and 4 wheelers just like Grandpa Utech!  I thought it was so interesting that even though they were practically the only kids on the ride... they chose to sit together on the same 4 wheeler... no fighting over which color.... they just hoped on together and buckled in... interesting "twin-ness"

Thankgoodness Hunkle Adam was there to do the obstacle course!

Just a fun day at the Fair!

Nathan was a sticky billboard for every business in Woodbury!

We ran into the boys favorite friends... Ben and Norah Jean!  They love those guys and of course had to hold Norah's hand.... 

At the Peace of Mind Booth they were having Silly string fights!  

Parade Day!  It was a hot one... thank goodness we found a spot partially in the shade.  And thank goodness Hunkle Adam was nice enough to ride his bike over with some ice water and snacks!  

Gretchen, Wyatt and Baby Hazel joined us! Ms. Hazel was a trooper.. it was hot and the only time she squeeked was to eat!

Freezee pops were the hit of the day!

The vulcans from the Winter Carnival got Nathan!

Ben discovered Nerds!

By the end of the day we were hot, tired, and Ben's shirt was off.... oh the memories!
